Navin Jangra won the men’s title in the Karnataka State Open Squash
Championship that concluded here. The

& Conditions of Play 1.
The SRFI rules shall apply unless otherwise stated. Players should note the
code of conduct and abide by its regulations. 2.
A player can enter in one age category. 3.
A minimum of 8 entries is required to conduct the tournament in any
category. In case of inadequate entries in any category, the entries shall
be considered for the next age category. 4.
Players must be under
the age category as on 9th October 2009. All
players are requested to carry documentary proof of age (Passport or Birth
Certificate). In the event of any doubt, the SRFI Observer has the right
to order a medical test on the player. 5.
Disciplinary action may be taken against players who without valid
reason give a walkover or do not turn up for the event. 6.
All matches shall be best of 3/5 games with a 11points per game,
point a rally scoring system. 7.
Copies of the draws and each day’s match schedule shall be posted
on the notice boards. 8.
Players are required to report to the tournament office at least 20 minutes
before the scheduled time of their match. Failure 9. The tournament committee shall arrange referees for the matches. However players may be requested to referee matches and if so requested, are obliged to do so. The organisers will provide squash balls for the matches. 10. Players must wear shoes with non-marking soles and the use of eye protection is mandatory for all juniors. 11. Players should make themselves available to meet reasonable requests for interviews by the media with the concurrence of the SRFI. However, players should not air their opinions on controversial issues or make any derogatory remarks about participants, officials, referees or any related parties. 12.
Abuse of any sort (verbal or gesture) towards referees/officials
throughout the duration of the championship will be viewed seriously.
Disciplinary action may be taken against offenders.
13.
In the event of disputes, the decision of the SRFI observer shall be
final and binding. 14.
Entries must be sent to the Squash Rackets Federation of India only
through the State Associations and Units who are affiliated to the
Federation. No direct entries will be accepted. States who are not
affiliated to the SRFI but have Associate members under section 9 (b) of the
Constitution viz. Clubs, Schools, Colleges, or other organizations not
specified can send entries directly to the Federation (as given on Page 4). Boarding

Winners along with the management of JSW Joshi, Aparajitha triumph Laxman
Joshi and Aparajitha lifted the title in the boys and girls under-19
categories respectively in the JSW Karnataka State Open Squash
Championships which concluded at the Jindal Vijayanagar Sports Complex,
