AGE-23 

  • Started playing squash in 2000 at IMSC, Navy Nagar as there was a vacancy for the spot of squash marker.

  • Prior to 2000, Santosh was assisting the Tennis coach at IMSC, Navy Nagar.

  • The break he got as squash marker which helped him a lot and he practiced very hard at becoming a better player and earned the respect of the members at IMC, Navy Nagar.

  • In 2003, Santosh joined United Services Club, Navy Nagar as a squash marker.

  • Over the years he has improved his game due to his dedication and discipline.

  • In 2005 he was also appointed squash coach and regularly train players in the below 14 category.

  • Santosh is regular on the professional circuit in Bombay & regularly participates in the tournaments.

  • He has consistently reached the pre-quarter finals in the CCI & Bombay Gym tournaments from 2004 onwards.

  • He hopes to do even better next year and is practicing hard towards the goal.

  • Dec 2003 to April 2004 - SRAM speed 93 inter/intra-club squash tournament spread over from-Womens category-placed 3rd

  • Dec 04 - Participated in the Sr. National squash championship - At Chennai. – losing quarter finalist in singles - Runner up in Women ‘s Doubles.
  • Dec 04 - Represented India in the Asian Junior squash Championships at Chennai.
  • Jan 05 - Asian junior championship Chennai represented INDIA
  • May 05 - Otters open - Girls U17 – Winner -Women’s –(losing semi finalist)
